We are excited to announce our latest joint fundraising project between the BRSC and RBHS, aimed at upgrading of the medic hut and expanding the area to accommodate physio rooms at our school right next to the Tinkie Heyns field. Our goal is to raise ±R350,000 which will greatly improve the treatment options available to our players during at match days and practice sessions.

Physiotherapy plays a crucial role in the rehabilitation and recovery of our rugby players. It is through these facilities that our players receive the necessary care to heal and return to the field stronger than ever. Even more important, however, is ensuring quick and easy access to medical staff and ambulances in the case of an on-field injury. Recognising that our current facilities are in need of upgrades to keep pace with the demands of modern sports medicine, we identified this as an urgent need which will continue to serve the school for generations to come.

The funds raised by the BRSC will go towards several essential improvements. Firstly, we plan to increase the number of treatment beds, ensuring that more players can receive care simultaneously. This expansion will significantly reduce waiting times and enable our medical staff to provide prompt attention to injured athletes.

Additionally, we aim to acquire state-of-the-art equipment that will enhance the quality of our treatments. With advanced technology and specialised rehabilitation equipment at their disposal, our physiotherapists and medical staff will have access to the best resources available, ultimately facilitating faster recoveries. Space is also a critical consideration. We intend to expand the current treatment area to create a more comfortable and accommodating environment for both players and medical personnel.
